Sorry, men

In a separate message to John (bless 'im) I explained my diffiulties
within days of connect with Yahoo - the porn ads, the bad taste, the spate
of spam. I agree with Housman that it MAY NOT be Yahoo, but the scum who
take advantage of its loopholes. It is perhaps one of the most rejected of
the 'abuse' gang.
Nevertheless, since severring all contact, and advising all buddies
of the change, the spamming dropped to nil and after 3 weeks I could invite
my niece to surf with confidence when visitting.
One of our notorious cut-rate airlines acknowledged the federal
regulation to report any infringement of our country's flight duty time
restrictions by adding the requisite form to the flight information folder -
a stark reminder of who was the real master. Just like the faux invitation
of scammers to escape their clutches by contacting them, this was no more
than intimidation.
Tony is aware of the machinations of the net trade and if he says he
wants no part, neither do I. I'm sure we can find a more benevolent service
and resume the very useful exchange of previous days.
Till then, Happy landings,
