Hi Bob

Takeoff was like Europa Mono takeoff - quite easy but must be careful and
concentrate to keep it straight. But landing was awful - at least for me.
It was told to me that most of the MEs were destroyed during the war when
landing. Speed over the numbers and when touching must be 250 km/h (135
knots). Mustang P51 (a real one!) was a pussycat to land when compare to
ME109 (please notice that was a Hi-Pe Simulator as I told to Paul, not a
real one [attachment]).

What can I say - I am happy I am living and flying just now and not past as
a fighter pilot during the war.

Raimo
