Europa guys,

Sorry for the rant, but:

1. The presence of a problem with multiple posts was obvious.
  A. You could look at your own incoming e-mail and know there was a
problem.
  B. And a quick glance at the Archive Search Engine, the 7-Day List
Browser, or perhaps earlier today in the List Digest Browser (before Matt
erased it) would have given you a double, triple, or quadruple verification
that a serious problem existed.

What is the decision making process in your own head that would make you
then decide to add to the deluge, by e-mailing your complaints to hundreds
of other list-subscribers who are battling this flood, that you too are
battling a flood?

And why would you shout about your problems via e-mail to Matt on this
forum, when his trouble-report e-mail address and his personal e-mail
address is easily accessed by clicking on the bottom of each and every one
of the 2400 problem e-mails you guys allowed yourselves to receive. Where
is the logic here guys? 2400 messages tell you where to complain, and yet
you vent on this list?

2. Join the space age guys. If you use a product like MailWasher, a free
spam tool that Bob Nichols of Aeroelectric fame recommends, it only takes a
moment to spot problems like this and another 5 seconds to set it up so
MailWasher erase all such e-mails up on your ISP's e-mail server. I
downloaded a single copy of the e-mail -- and MailWasher erased all 2399+ of
the others BEFORE THEY EVER GOT DOWNLOADED TO MY PC.

3. And if you don't have MailWasher or another suitable mail tool, take a
minute or two and use the Rules Wizard in Outlook so that it deletes these
as they come in. I imagine most other e-mail packages have tools that are
equally easy to set up.

Sorry for the rant guys, but let's get smart and not fill up the wires with
even more unnecessary junk e-mails.

Regards,
Bruce
