Mike,
Once you get the glass bonded in then apply 2 layers of light weight glass
over the seam. It only has to be about 1 inch wide to cover the joint
between the glass and fuselage or your paint will eventually crack due to
dissimilar materials.

Do mean that (per Phoenix composites) you wet out and apply two layers of
"the lightest
fiberglass cloth available" and then, while still wet, set in the plexi? Or
am I getting this wrong? And this prevents a crack in the paint from
developing
at the joint between the paint and the plexi?
Just looking for clarification.
I was getting close to doing this when I read your post.
Also, did you paint your doors before installing the plexi?
