Yes you need to flow meters on a 914.  Fuel flow down the return line is
controlled by the valve that the flow and return pipes connect to.  You
cannot measure the fuel going to the engine so you need to measure the flow
and the return to get the difference which is what the engine is using.

Did you have to put two fuel flow meters on your EIS??
I called them, and they said because it's a 914 and has return fuel that
I needed two of them.
