I installed (to a Classic) one of Graham's original sternposts recently, which
was supplied several years ago. No significant snags and gives confidence that
the rear will eventually be all lined up correctly. Using a pre-moulded
sternpost is pretty essential if you wish to use the XS tailwheel and wish to do
the associated internal layups before you put the fuz top on.
Using the nicely-finished factory XS sternpost would avoid some of this layup
work but some would stil need to be done (on a Classic fuz), the factory would
advise, I'm sure.
