Troy, In Spain homebuilts can only fly VFR and VFR at night is not
allowed in Spain. Then, it do not worth while to complicate the electric
installation and to add weight and cost. I use Whelen. They looks like
fine.

I have fitted one strobe on the upper part of fuselage, forward to the
baggage bulkhead and the other on the lower part of fusselage, about one
meter aft of the baggage bulkhead. I have fitted the power unit on the left
rear part of the baggage bulkhead in an area reinforced with plywood and two
layers of fiberglass. There is no interferences with the trailer.

Javier,
Is this the only lights you plan to have? I'm trying to decide if I want to
retro-fit wing tip lights to a set of wings I bought completed. I really
don't plan to fly at night but it would be nice to have the plane certified
for nights just in case. What brand lights did you use, Whelen? Thanks.
