I would also suggest you still put on a coat of primer over the anodised 
surface.
Priming
the surface provides another layer of protection over the anodising (and makes
the part look nice).

Anodising, like alodyning, is only a surface treatment. If you drill though the
piece or have to reshape the edge for any reason then you will of course lose 
the
treatment
in that area. You may want to have some alodyne available to retreat the edges
if you do that.

If you want to really protect your plane you should also use Duralac when 
assembling
nuts and bolts. This
reduces electrolytic corrosion within the screw holes.

Make sure your anodising is to the standard specified in the manual. I know of
a builder of another 
aircraft who took his aluminium parts down to an anodiser who hard anodised the
parts a gold colour
as it looked the same as all the bits he had seen on an aircraft. As a result he
had to replace all
of his aluminium components!!
