I have sent Graham a couple of private e-mail memos about the developing
Laptop/Aero Computer thread that is starting up here. About six to eight
months back, if my failing memory hasn't totaly left me, there was a very
active thread aboaut developing an Aero Computer system on the
rec.aviation.homebuilt newsgroup.

We had some very qualified computer and software engineers as well as a
broad group of users contributing. Unfortunatly we also had one additional
individual that was envolved with computers in the early days and had
mastered assembly language but hadn't matured beyond that. He made life
on the news group so unattractive that all contributors finally gave up
on the thread.

I had started the construction of a home page for the group but when the
thread died out the page was left in the uncompleted stage. This group
looks like the ideal place to re-kindle the effort. I have re-activated
the Aero Computer home page at: http://www.evansville.net/~newtech I
will over the next week or so clean up the archive of posts to the old
Aero Computer thread and put them on the home page.

I am not sure how much active envolvement I am going to be able to have
in this effort but I will be glad to sponsor the home page. Since the
earlier effort died out I have been able to get a commitment from my
company to develop a proof of concept Aero Computer prototype. Success
of the prototype will determine if it will be made into a full fledged
product. Since the company is mine and I own all of the stock, it was a
very short board meeting when the new project was approved ;-)

Please use the e-mail hot buttons on the home page to send your comments
and/or suggestions.

Steve
