Me too! Thats why no bits are small enough to get into the carbi throat, and the
baffle extension has a cutaway slot to allow air to pass through should it
somehow
slide out of its position.
The trial fit pieces will be PLA and working ones PETG; which is a fuel proof
and
very tough material... final units will be West resin fibreglass coated. Also
have carbon reinforced nylon to chuck at the situation. Final airbox product
will be unitised composite single piece and trial bits thrown in the recycle
bin.
The Modal and CFD tests indicate a low stress neutral pressure working
environment.
