Hello Europa Builders Group,

So I ended up buying kit A291. The poor thing really deserved to be built after
all the sweat and tears Marty put in it and I am happy to help continue this
project.

Speaking of Marty, he and his wife are the most wonderful people I have ever
met.
Despite the fact that I am sure Marty is sad he couldn't complete the build
and he had to see a total stranger take it away, he and his wife invited me and
my son to their house, gave us lunch and Marty gave me everything else he had
for this kit (and tons of advice). All this with a huge smile and continuously
offering to help.

I am going to make sure I keep him in the loop by posting updates and pictures
of the project. And a flight once it's done for sure!!

So right now it is in my hangar and I am going through inventory. Not an easy
task
because I haven't been able to really find a detailed list of what's in the
kit. I got the spreadsheet from a forum member but will need to see if this
is really a complete inventory or a list of what someone had in their workshop
during construction.

But so far I have been able to find everything I wanted to find. So I should be
in good shape.

I hope I don't drive people crazy with my questions. I am an somewhat
experienced
composite builder (building a Cozy IV) and there are a good number of very
experienced builders in my community but I love to be a part of the type forums
and tend to tap a lot into the collective knowledge (after searching of course).

In terms of introduction, I am a 50ish Engineer (Mechanical and Electrical,
Medical
Devices) and a Pilot (ATP, CFI, A&P, with a short stint flying regional jets
for American Eagle before I ran out of money and had to go back to Engineering).
I live in a Fly-In community in FL and own a LongEZ and a Kolb Firestar.
Used to own an old Mooney I restored before the darn thing became too expensive
to keep).

So with that said, looking forward to meeting you guys through this forum and
perhaps
in person.

Regards,
Chris Martin
