Hello all,
If you are fed up with the effects of =9CClimate Change=9D
and need a break from the winter doldrums, come on down to Florida this
April 20-26 (Monday through Sunday).
I have reserved spot N-55 on the main flight line off Hangar B. I have
no idea what plane I am showing this year as I have a few to choose
from. This year I should have a new blade for the AP332 made by
Whirlwind propellers for us. I hope to have it installed and tested and
provide numbers for you all. The Warp Drive (WD) blades are pretty
good, but in testing I have found the Sensenich and Whirlwind two blade
a bit faster by 4-8 knots at altitude at max continuous. Jim at
Whirlwind (WW) is confident his new three blade will be lighter for sure
and at least perform a bit better. This is an inexpensive change for
the 332 owners. I hope to have the tooling to swap over from the WD to
WW blades. I also have some additional data on landing light
performance for those of us who are amp zealots.
I=99ve toyed with some trim systems with Creighton Smith who hopes
to be flying in a couple months in 96EG.
