Hi Guys...
After biting the bullet and ordering a RAM Performance Sube EA81
derivative engine, I must now deal w/ aux. fuel pump selection...I've
been planning on installing two for redundancy downstream from a
single gascolator. Acft Spruce lists a number of different models of
Facet fuel pumps.

There's a notation at the bottom of the page stating that "the above"
fuel pumps "do not feature an anti-siphoning valve and fuel will flow
through them in event of pump failure". That would seem to indicate
that if using two of them, they should be installed in series rather
than parallel in order to avoid loss of fuel pressure by having the
operative pump pumping fuel back thru the failed pump instead of to
the engine. (I'm presuming that an anti-siphoning valve functions as a
back flow preventer.)
I'd welcome comment on my reasoning and any suggestions on alternate
brands of pumps.
