looks suspiciously like a conventional mechanical relay/contactor. Here's a
solid state relay:

I use a solid state contactor, the EV200 which meets some of your
criteria. It can handle 500A (enough to start a cold 914 or even a 912s),
has a hold current of 0.125. It is not cheap however at $90, but it is
less weight on the firewall.
