Paul,

I had a rough running engine for a while and traced it back to a slight
kink in one throttle cable which caused a very slight hesitation on one
side when adjusting the throttle, but only at certain rev's. I guess you
have balanced the carb's?

Regards.

Hi all,

I am looking for a few clues to diagnose this problem.. The engine now
has 70 hours on it and it has started running a little rough in the 3500
rpm range. It idles fine, starts easily and cruises okay at 5000 rpm.
Rear EHT seem to be at 1450 in cruise and cylinder head temps in cruise
come in about 180. Spark plugs look gray with the exception of #2
cylinder where they are noticeably darker.

Any clues on where to start would be appreciated.

Thanks, Paul
