Hi guys,
This problem exists on all airframes (that I've seen). Just get
out your "Super Fill" and match the parts. Just be sure to include a
layer of bid approximately every 3/16" (3 - 4 mm) or so. The glass is
necessary as the super fil doesn't have any strength when put it on that
thick. I had to do the leading edge of the tail planes and re-form the
top of both of my protrusions to match the tail planes. No big deal,
just time consuming. My moldings don't match on the bottom but no one
looks there when looking over the plane. I did the lower section just to
blend it in.
