Rotax 912 oil seepage

Subject: Rotax 912 oil seepage

I have over 500 hours on the Rotax 912 engine on my Europa.

On top of my engine, facing backwards behind the propeller drive, there
are two small, visible, cylindrical recesses stacked vertically,
approximately the diameter of a silver coin.

The higher recess is known for leaking oil (where the vacuum pump
normally connects, I believe).

However .....

Lately, I've noticed one or two signs of oil 'seepage' on the underside
of the engine block.

Has anyone else with a 'high hours' Rotax encountered this issue ?
(please contact on or off forum).

We aren't talking about high amounts here. I've only used 0.4 litres oil
in the last 15 - 20 hours !

Alan
