It would appear that a significant number of subscribers are suffering from a
problem with the subscriber database at Avnet, host of the Forum. Typically all
message delivery stops and if the subscriber tries to post a message to the
Forum he is accused by the server of not being a subscriber. Attempts to
resubscribe are refused on the grounds that the address is already a subscriber
! This has been coming on over the last 10-14 days.
Unfortunately, the web archive of Forum messages operated by Andrew Sarangan
seems to be one of the victims.
If you are a victim, you won't of course see this. However, having seen this, if
your delivered messages dry up please get in contact with me (the address is at
the bottom of every message).
Work is in hand at Avnet to try to find the cause of this problem and fix it.
