In the light of concerns expressed by several people, we will not be moving this
forum to become a Yahoo group. My apologies for
the false start.
We will look for an alternative host which would also offer improved facilities
and let you know if we think we have found one. In
the meantime this Avnet forum will continue as normal.
I will destroy the Yahoo Europa-Forum group on Saturday (1/9). In the meantime
if you are one of the people that accepted the
invitation to join the Yahoo group, you may leave it before then, if you would
feel more comfortable with that, by using the email
address contained in the joining invitation.
A number of people indicated in replies to my 'correct address ?' circular of a
few weeks ago that they would prefer to use a
different email address for their forum mail. I am afraid that I am not able to
alter subscribed addresses for the Avnet forum,
that has to be done on a DIY basis by unsubscribing from the old address and
subscribing
---From the new one,in eirther order. (The
asking me to do that.)
