I was most surprised to see my fastbuild tailplanes w/ hideous protruding
covers.
They are shiny inside-threaded outside-beveled ring collars ? that stick up
nearly a quarter inch.
They have a threaded disk with a two-hole wrenchpin pattern.
They are on the control surface hinge side - the top?
I am at a bit of a loss as to how to streamline or grind them off or reset
them flush.
Mebbe first cut them out and then reset them flush.
Tape is sounding good.
Red on the left, green on the right.
Maybe they're required for inverted spin recovery.
