It is interesting to note that most of the Europa factory demonstrators have
shark fin ducts in the area where the silencer box goes - its possible they
are alloy rather than glass so there wouldnt be a problem with charring of
the cowling. Im a little surprised this isnt offered as an off the shelf
mod. I think its you can buy sheets of this ducting (possibly from Aircraft
Spuce).
