Miles - it sounds like you are determined never to get this project
finished - not content with the BRS mod, you are proposing another
major one!
Seriously though, any reasons for not adopting the approach to
conventional already seen on G-RICS (#125) which if I recall
correctly has carbon-fibre gear legs?
