Yes, some files have been moved around as a part of a "tidy-up" by
Moira. The Europa Club internet rep does not have write access to the
ftp site so we have to rely on Moira to shuffle things around for us.
Sometimes this process (ask for files to be put up; wait for Moira to
have time to do it; check the files are as required; request changes
if not; wait & check again) is so un-handy that things get left
undone. Ideally it would be nice if we had the archives on ftp,
fetchable by e-mail, and browsable on www. At present only a few are
browsable - updating of those stopped while back. Tom Dawes-Gamble
(the weather man) is apparently in charge of e-mail lists at AVNET
now, and he accidentally made the Europa e-mail acessible archives
unaccessible recently. Moira found them on the ftp site and put them
back in the e-mail area, but in doing so, removed them from the ftp
area. The latest proposal is that the ftp site has the files bundled
not in months (as in the e-mail accessible area) but in years for
more efficient download of large quantities. Don't hold your breath
as to when this will eventuate, though!

Sounds like a question for Peter again. (Now, if you'd been using
FileMaker Pro on either Mac or Windows I might be able to help ......)

There certainly is! And having it searchable by both subject line and
content is invaluable in helping to sift the gold from the dross. I
hope Peter can raise his head long enough to help you. (I don't have
the developer kit for FileMaker Pro or I'd send you a stand-alone
version [doesn't need the FileMaker application] of my solution -
sorry!)
