I was advised to forget the length until 'rigging' had been done with
full weight simulation to measure 'actual' length required. Those
outriggers are sat 'sulking' in the corner at this time awaiting that
time in the future when they will be called to duty.
Not sure if this will be the general advice you get back but that's my
plan of action.
