There is a Velleman*kit K2625 at around 27 uk pounds -with two bright 1/2" 
LED numerals. Has debouncing but needs a pot. or  a.g.c on the input to avoid 
the nasty noise on the 912 pickup, but then works fine and accurately with 
tiny panel space..
