Oshkosh 1997 will be held from July 30 through August 5. Best source of
information is through the EAA web site at 'www.eaa.org' There is a
listing of all hotels, etc, with-in 40 miles and their current
availibility. (It's pretty tight by now.) Also is a hot line telephone
number that is operational during the day here in the midwest. (Tony,
you'll have to stay up late to make the call :-( )
For everyone's information, entry fees have changed this year. There is
no longer a seperate fee to get to the flight line. $13.00 covers all
fees for an EAA member; their family members get in for $10.00 each.
The convention guide is not included in the entry fee. It is now
optional, at extra cost. Parking is $3.00 for EAA members.
Just got word that the XS probably won't make it, but at least a kit
will be on display, according to Bob Berube at the US office.
Enjoy the show !!!
