Add alu. strips on opposite sides of the tubes, and with a metal rod for the
float repeater you have a linear capacitance gauge, and you can still see it
for when your electronics fail.

For "WW2" output, a meter in the bridge will do, but A-D it into your
on-board computer and you can have Euro2000 output ----- storage, flow rate,
total  consumption, alarms, the lot.  

Tell me when you've done it, must get back to re-fitting that u/c frame ---
sigh.....
