I did this to the flap and aileron close outs as many others have. I glassed in some foam about 2mm below the edges then filled the void with filler. Looks like a nice job was done. Regards Frank Kit

To use your classic cowls you would need to get a classic engine mount and classic radiators (2 of them) but am sure the oil cooler could be modified if you modified the cowls like Peter kember did t
