We are so lucky here in Canada and the US, where we can indeed (to the chagrin of the cert'd owners?). Cheers, Pete Z. a239 flying along with permit aircraft on airways without certified equipment wo
"The reason is simple: with the CoG more aft the tailplane has less "inverted lift" to produce, and this also reduces the load on the main wings. So this reduces two times induced drag." Hi Frans, I
There was a question recently about the headset adapter on the a24, which squealed when transmitting. I checked mine again, and discovered it also squeals if I used the handset's ptt switch. It does
I defer to Ferg, and my Trig avionics installation manual which does indeed have grounding directions as per Ferg. fwiw, Cheers, Pete Ferg - you must be close to flying now? Or is it a springtime lau
The jack shields should be only connected to the radio ground - at the radio, as well as the jack common terminal - as shown in the trig diagrams. The jack common terminal must not be grounded to any

Bob, I'm curious how you dealt with the issue of the batteries being unbalanced w ith resulting cross-battery discharge, and protection against a potentially s horted cell aggravating the situation?
Hi Remi, After many attempts I have found a charger which was clean enough to not cause interference for my radios, but I still definitely would be very interested in a schematic and parts list if po
