George you could use Lastafoam. It isn't PVC but polyurethane, but if the density is similar it should be OK. Graham Does anyone know of a source in the US for this material? I couldn't find anything

Jan imho there is more risk of vapout lock when you mix hot fuel from the engine driven pump with the fuel going back to the engine. I don't think you will be able to aerate a full tank of fuel, the
