Just a curiosity question, How many of you weighed your completed cockpit module before you installed it. Mine came in at 31kg with a roll trim servo and two gascolators installed as extras craig 6:0
I wonder if anyone has switched pistons or thrown a head spacer in a 912s to reduce the compression and then turbo charged it. With the extra capacity if it was done correctly it should be good for a
faster climb outs springs to mind, 165kts cruise might be nice too : ) Plus, and i guess some of you mountain flyers would be familiar with mountain waves etc, full power 100kts nose up and still sin
If you are getting a sudden jump in voltage after a couple of minutes, I would have a look at the field coils and bridge rectifier in the alternator I have seen simmilar in the past, where you would
interesting, I have wondered if it would be a cheaper option to go that path, pay 16k for a 912 then turbo it, or pay 37k for a 914 cause thats what rotax want for a 914 in australia. A new garret tu
If you consider the fact that you need more power or a longer ground run to take off at high temps or lower pressures (higher density altitude) then Don's assertions are correct. Consider also that s
I have used digital scales with great success also, but ran out of Ampreg and so switched to West Systems and it came with ratio pumps that replace the caps on the bottles. Personally I have found th
