Yes the 2nd ply of glass is cut 10-20mm short of the first just as you did on the first side of the fin, then peel ply enough to cover all the ends, which might be more than one strip of peel ply. Y

The first thing I would recommend is getting rid of the peel ply supplied with the Kit and replacing it with peel ply from Aircraft Spruce, in several widths. i.e. 2" and 3" . The larger widths are g
