John,
The classic and very early XS had an extension on the rudder pedal
return spring in Chapter 22 on the pilot side. That has since be
superseded. (Frankly, I don't even have the pages for that any longer
in my shop.) If you have a post 97 XS you should not have a CS30.

Subject: Europa-List: Final Inspection Checklist
<john.greenhalgh1@sky.com<mailto:john.greenhalgh1@sky.com>>
Hi,
In the Final Inspection Checklist (Annex E (T)) on page 5 'Aircraft
back on ground-cowlings removed' it says - "Check addition of rudder
pedal return spring plate CS30 for furthest forward rudder pedal".
I can't find any reference to this part CS30 in the build manual. I
would appreciate any information to solve the mystery of the missing
part.
Regards John
