This website gives you the lat/lon information of U.S. airports, navaids and fixes that can be uploaded into a non-aviation handheld GPS unit. The data is extracted from the FAA database in format compatible with Waypoint+ or Gatrip. Since most GPS models cannot hold more than 500 waypoints, we need a convenient method to select waypoints from the huge FAA database. Read the help file for more details.

Warning:
National Flight Data Center (NFDC) revises the aeronautical data every 56 days, but I don't have the time or resources to keep it up to date. Although airports and navaids rarely change, no liability is assumed for errors. This data was correct as of May 9 2005. If you have a newer data set from NFDC, and you are willing to share it, I will be happy to update my database. .
